Ice Seguerra on Directorial Debut in 'Drag Race Philippines Untucked'

Ice Seguerra is now a director

Singer Ice Seguerra added a new feather in his cap as he ventured into directing through Drag Race Philippines Untucked.

Ice has been in the industry since he was three years old after winning the Little Miss Philippines on Eat Bulaga. He eventually became a musician and now, he becomes a director. The former child star shared about this new stint on his Instagram post.

He shared that he is a big fan of the show and becoming a co-director gives him another level of happiness. Ice said that he did not imagine that he will have so much fun and he will be close to the participants.

“There’s nothing I want more than to see you shine. I want to be there and support all of you every step of the way, in any way I can,” he said. Ice also wished for all the success that the contestant will have in the future. He also expressed his support for them.

“Shine on, my dearest Queens! This is the beginning of the rest of your lives. I love you all so much!” the new director said. Ice received heartwarming messages from friends and fans for this new endeavor in his career in the entertainment industry.

Ice’s partner former Film Development Council of the Philippines chair Liza Diño also shared a post about this. She expressed how proud she is of her husband. “Directorial debut mo pa lang eh global na, tapos reality series pa. To top it all off, paborito pa nating show,” she said.

She also highlighted the importance of the segment that Ice is directing in the show. In the “Werkroom” the audience can see the “most beautiful and touching moments” of the competition.

Liza also shared the time when they found out about this good news. She revealed that they were shouting inside the van when Ice confirmed that she got this stint. The former FDCP chair also thanked everyone who made this possible.
