Ice Seguerra talked about this phase of his life
Singer/musician Ice Seguerra revealed that he realized the worst mistake an artist like him could ever commit.
Ice started his career in the entertainment industry at a young age but at that time, his age was not a hindrance to stardom. When he finally did his transition, he received acceptance and continued on the new journey he took as an artist.
However, in his recent Instagram post, the former Eat Bulaga host revealed that he committed the worst mistake an artist could ever do. Ice Seguerra shared an art card that talked about self-doubt.
“Self-doubt can be an ally. This is because it serves as an indicator of aspiration,” the art card stated. In the caption of his post, the singer said that artists are aware of the whole concept of uncertainty. “Nabubuhay tayo nang walang kasiguraduhan, just to pursue our passion,” he said.
Ice shared that when he was younger, he was more courageous in pursuing his dream but not too much because he knew that he has responsibilities to fulfill. When he got older, the singer said that he became more comfortable.
He has learned to shield himself away from pain and failure. However, he did not think that it was not right. “Looking back, I’ve come to realize that it’s the worst mistake to make when you’re an artist,” he said.
Then, Ice Seguerra said that because of his desire to be “safe”, he compromised his will to dream but now, he is turning his back on that past perception that he had. “I cannot do that anymore. I can’t let fear stop me from being who I really am,” the singer said.
