Who are the real-life superheroes of Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon?
Kapamilya stars Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon revealed the people who they consider as their real-life superheroes.
Jane is currently playing a superhero role in the Kapamilya teleserye Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The Series in which Janella plays the kontrabida role. These actresses are among the trending celebrities on social media these past days.
During a recent interview for this superhero TV series, based on the article in Inquirer, the actresses were asked about their real-life superheroes. Janella said that she considers her mom singer-actress Jenine Desiderio as her personal hero even though their mother-daughter relationship is far from perfect.
It is known to many that there were several issues before that surfaced between Janella Salvador and her mom. The Kapamilya actress said that her mom is one of the strongest women she knows. “She has raised me mostly on her own. I have to give her the biggest credit,” she said.
In a previous interview, Janella mentioned that she appreciates more the efforts that her mother has done for her over the years now that she is a mother also.
For Jane de Leon, her parents are her real-life superheroes, especially her late father. She described her father as her number supporter and her number one critic as well. The Darna lead actress shared that she and her parents went through a lot together when they were struggling financially. Jane said that her parents really sacrificed a lot.
She also shared that her father was against her decision to be an actress because he believed that it will require a big amount of investment for her to be in this industry. However, Jane said that every time she will get an acting job, her father is the proudest person for her.
