Alice Dixson Yellow Dress at GMA Gala Night: Actress reacts to bashers

Alice Dixson explained her outfit during the first GMA Gala Night

Seasoned actress Alice Dixson received bashing because of their yellow gown during the GMA Gala Night that was held on July 30.

This is the first gala night that the Kapuso network organized for the executives and stars. The said event is also the first big gathering that Alice attended these past three years. She looks beautiful and elegant in her yellow gown.

However, despite obviously being beautiful, Alice received bashing and negative reactions from netizens. Most of the attendees wore black or white outfits or a combination of two. Alice Dixson stood out because of her bright yellow outfit.

In her recent Instagram post, she addressed the bashers and why she wore a “love bright canary yellow gown” by designer Kim Gan during the GMA Gala Night. “It has come to my attention na may mga nagalit (pouting face emoji) nainis (face with look of triumph emoji) nag ba-bash,” the actress wrote.

She also said that there were those who said that she looked like a gate crasher and that she messed with the good preparation that was done for the event. Then, she shared the reason behind her outfit choice.

“For me (and I also looked it up ha!) ang isang Formal Black and White event is simply that,
a formal event. + No where on any of my invitations that I received (attached) did it say you could only wear black and white! So I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings or sensibilities,“ the seasoned actress stressed.

However, Alice Dixson said that she thinks she has accomplished the purpose of that event and this is to give thanks, meet and mingle with her colleagues and the bosses of the network, and enjoy the night.

“Kayo mga bashers, anong nagawa nyo??? Pls Lang huwag nmn kasi kayo masyado judgmental,” the actress said. Alice also shared a screen recording showing that she searched the meaning of “black and white event.”
