Carla Abellana Says She’s Busy Building Dream Home After Split W/ Tom Rodriguez

CARLA ABELLANA – Kapuso actress Carla Abellana said she’s busy building her dream home after split with Tom Rodriguez.

Carla Abellana is a well-known actress and endorser in the Philippines. She’s known for “Shake Rattle and Roll 12” (2010), “Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story” (2011), and “My Husband’s Lover” (2013).

She married Tom Rodriguez last October 23, 2021, at Madre De Dios Chapel in Tagaytay Midlands. However, a few months after the two tied the knot, there were rumors that their marriage is going through a rough patch.

In an IG post of Popoy Caritativo, Tom Rodriguez’s manager, it was confirmed that Carla Abellana and Tom’s divorce issue is true and the Kapuso actor said that the divorce decree is final.

The former PBB housemate stressed that he has tried fixing their marriage but Carla has given up. Tom also cleared his name from speculations that he physically hurt Carla.

Moving forward is now the mantra of Carla Abellana who walked solo on the red carpet of the recently concluded GMA Gala Night held at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City. Even though she attended the glamorous event alone, the Kapuso actress still looked stunning wearing a dazzling black and white fitted gown designed by renowned fashion designer Michael Cinco.

In an interview with her by GMA showbiz correspondent Nelson Canlas at the said event, Carla shared what keeps her busy after the issues she went through such as her divorce from Tom Rodriguez. According to the actress, her attention is now focused on her family and building her dream house.

“I am building my house, my dream house, what else, spending more time with my family medyo doon ako hindi lang preoccupied pero talagang doon ako busy [ngayon],” she said.
