Suzette Doctolero Claims ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ Finale Just Gimmick
ANG PROBINSYANO – GMA-7 writer Suzette Doctolero said the finale of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is just a gimmick.
The story of Cardo Dalisay is finally coming to an end after seven long years. This news, which gave many people nostalgic and melancholic feelings, was confirmed by Kapamilya actor Coco Martin, the lead actor of the longest drama series.
The action-drama show is now down to its last three weeks. As much as we are all aware, Cardo’s devoted fans followed him on every platform and channel.
Coco Martin expressed his sadness over the end of the FPJAP, which viewers have adored for seven years and eventually became part of their lives. He also gave a message thanking the audience.
“Kahit man po matapos ang teleseryeng ito, hinding-hindi matatapos ang pagmamahal namin sa inyo. Kaya kapit lang sa huling tatlong linggo, ito po ang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano: Ang Pambansang Pagtatapos,” he said.
With the exit of Dalisay comes the arrival of Darna, the beloved character to be portrayed by Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon.

Recently, GMA-7 writer Suzette Doctolero shared her thoughts on the finale of the Kapamilya show. She said her fantaserye ‘Encantadia’ was fighting in the ratings against FPJAP so Coco Martin’s show announced in 2016 that it will have its finale. Now, Doctolero claimed that the finale is just a gimmick.
“Ay pinataob niya ang encantadia? Hindi. Lumalaban sa ratings ang enca at madalas ay natatalo nya ang probinsyano kaya unang nag announced noon ang probinsyano na siya ay magwawakas na (2016) pero nanloko lang pala at hindi naman totoo at gusto lang balikan sila ng audience.”
“Gumigimik. Sa totoo lang ay style nila yan na kapag bagsak sila sa ratings ay gigimik sila na magwawakas na pero hindi pala. Susko since 2016 pa ay nagsasabi sila lagi na mag e end na pero nanloloko.”
