BARBIE IMPERIAL – Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial admits to making “ligaw” on someone when she was younger.
In the Philippines, people are accustomed to the norm that males are supposed to be the ones who pursue a girl and not the other way around. But for Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial, did not follow such a norm because once in her life, she, the female, was the one who pursued a guy.
But such an incident happened when she was younger. According to her, she was the one who made “ligaw” or courted Ryle Santiago, her ex-boyfriend. She was the one who made the first move and in her latest vlog, she was not shy to admit this because remembering it all now, what happened was all a “laughtrip” for her.
“Dumating [ka] na ba sa time na ikaw ang nanligaw sa lalaki?” asked one of her senders which she did not deny.
Probably, this was the time when they are still both working on the noontime show Its Showtime. Imperial and Santiago were members of GirlTrends and Hashtags, the show’s girl and boy groups, respectively.
“Ako talaga ‘yung may gusto sa kanya tapos nung time na ‘yun iba-iba pang GirlTrends may gusto sa kanya. Medyo may mga kaagaw pa ako noon pero naipanalo ko naman,” she expressed.
She did not like this part of her life but she can’t help but laugh at this at the same time. She just did not like the thought of her making the first move when it was supposed to be the guy’s thing.

Meanwhile, in the same video according to a previous article, the actress also revealed that among her ex-boyfriends, the split with Diego Loyzaga was the one that hurt her the most.
