Kim Chiu Uploads Video Taken From Home When 7.2-magnitude Earthquake Struck
KIM CHIU – Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu shared a video taken from her home when the 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck.
On Wednesday morning, July 27, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said a powerful earthquake hit Luzon. It says a 7.3 magnitude quake hit Lagangilang in the province of Abra.

The government agency had a depth of 17 km. The shaking was even in Manila and nearby provinces. People are advised to stay vigilant as aftershocks may occur due to this earthquake.
Several celebrities took to their social media accounts to post about the earthquake. One of them is Kapamilya actress-host, Kim Chiu.
The prominent actress took to Twitter and uploaded a clip that she has taken from her home when the earthquake struck. She captured how their chandeliers were swinging when the quake struck.

The video Kim Chiu share shows the lights shaking violently. She said she thought she was in rough seas because of the strong earthquake.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Eto lang na video ko sa pagka over over ng lindol!!!!!!!! ang tagal and nakakatakot sa lakas ah!!!!! Akala ko nasa dagat ako na sobrang ma alon! I kennot! kamusta kayo? Naramdaman nyo din ba sa area nyo?”
The actress’ reaction can also be heard in the video. She said, “Hala ang lakas ng lindol! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh, I’m scared. OMG.”
