Is it true that Karla Estrada will transfer to AMBS?
Actress-host Karla Estrada has this answer when asked about rumors saying that she will transfer to Advanced Media Broadcasting or the AMBS network.
For many years, Karla has been under ABS-CBN, as well as her son Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla. She was previously one of the hosts of Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay with Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal.
During the election season, she temporarily left the show for her political stint. After the elections, she formally bid goodbye to the viewers of MB. Based on the article in Pang-Masa, rumors surfaced claiming that Karla Estrada will soon be part of the network owned by business tycoon Manny Villar.
When asked about this, the Queen Mother quipped, “Kumalat na sa inyo, sa ‘kin, ‘di pa nakakarating.” She added that she is now focusing on her YouTube channel because through this platform, she has more freedom in doing her own shows or expressing herself on political matters.
“Kasi ‘di ba, sa TV maingat sila, hindi sila basta-basta nakakapagpalabas. Sa mga network station, hindi tayo basta-basta nakakapagpalabas ‘pag pulitiko ka,” Karla said. Although she was not able to sit as the third nominee of Tingog Party List, she is still part of it and will continue to do their projects.
Through her channel on the video-sharing social media platform, the Queen Mother said that she wants to show her “buhay-pulitika.” Karla also clarified that her son Daniel will continue to be under ABS-CBN. “Ang family namin ay talagang… grateful kami sa Kapamilya. Hindi ko na ie-elaborate pero grabe ang pinagsamahan namin,” the actress-host said.
Karla Estrada also shared her thoughts on collaboration between TV networks. She said that it is a good thing that through these collaborations, the network war is starting to vanish. The Queen Mother stressed that it will have a good effect so that artists are not “boxed” or have limitations because they are just exclusive to a certain network.
