Celeste Cortesi Reveals Favorite Beauty Queen
CELESTE CORTESI – Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi revealed the name of her favorite beauty queen.
Celeste Cortesi was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 in April. Before she won the competition, she represented the Philippines at Miss Earth 2018 held in the Philippines. She entered the Top 8.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 grand coronation was hosted by Pia Wurtzbach, along with her fellow Miss Universe titleholders Iris Mittenaere of France and Demi-Leigh Tebow of South Africa. Celeste will represent the country at Miss Universe 2022.
In a previous article, Celeste Cortesi disclosed that it was Miss Universe PH 2020 Rabiya Mateo who convinced her to join the said pageant. She said that she initially thought of joining the MUPH next year but Mateo encouraged her to join this year instead.
The Fil-Italian beauty queen also said that the Kapuso star also gave her some advice and it was the “best advice” she got.

In her very first vlog on YouTube titled “Get To Know Me … More !!!” uploaded on July 15, 2022, Celeste Cortesi answered many questions from her supporters. This includes “Beauty queen you look up to (Filipino or Non-Filipina)?”
The 24-year-old beauty queen quickly replied: “I would say Pia Wurtzbach, like, she’s my ultimate favorite.” She also shared that Pia inspired her to enter the world of pageantry.
Celeste Cortesi said that because of her mother who is from Bicol, Maria Luisa Rabimbi, she knows Pia. She said, “I told this story so many times, but I remember in 2015, when she won, I was living in Italy and I didn’t know anything about pageantry.”
“And my mom was going crazy because the Philippines won, Pia Wurtzbach won. She came into my room with a photo of Pia Wurtzbach,” she added.
According to Celeste, she was amazed by Pia’s performance in Miss Universe so she was inspired to enter the world of pageantry as well.
