What’s next for Alex Gonzaga and her husband after their miscarriage?
ALEX GONZAGA – Celebrity vlogger Alex Gonzaga says the story of her heartbreaking miscarriage is now a testimony.
Last October 2021, married couple Alex Gonzaga and politician Mikee Morada confirmed based on a previous article that they have lost their first baby. She had an anembryonic pregnancy a condition “when an early embryo never develops or stops developing”.
And now, remembering it all doesn’t cause her pain anymore. It’s no longer painful for her but rather a message of sorts from God regarding the responsibilities of being a parent. She feels like that moment spoke to them about their readiness to raise a child.
It proved that they can conceive and it was a test turned testimony for her. She said, “Puwede pala, hindi pala kami baog. Noong nangyari ‘yun, parang feeling ko, pinasilip lang ni Lord na, ‘Huwag mong isipin na you are not ready because you are ready. When I tell you, you are ready, you will be ready.’”
Meanwhile, in the same video, Alex admitted that she wasn’t ready at that moment yet when they found out they were expecting. She was always telling Mikee to wait for two to three years because she wanted to enjoy married life with him. She may not have been ready to be a parent yet but then it happened. Unfortunately, it wasn’t given to them.
And now, in talks about having a baby again, the actress shared that she and her husband are open to this no matter when it will happen. She said, “Kung kailan ibigay ng Panginoon, okay na sa amin.”
