Cops Arrest Tarlac Man For Spreading Woman’s Undressed Photos on Social Media
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The police authorities arrested a Tarlac man for spreading a woman’s undressed photos.
The police authorities arrested a 32-year-old man in Bamban town, Tarlac province for spreading malicious photos of a woman on the internet. The suspect even extorted money from the lady victim.
The male suspect who has been identified as Alvin Sicat of Bamban allegedly sent the victim’s undressed photos to numerous people. The culprit even sent the pictures to the victim’s siblings.
According to Tarlac police director Colonel Erwin Sanque, Sicat demanded P2, 000 from the female victim in exchange for deleting her undressed pictures. The victim agreed to send P1, 000 initially to the suspect.
The woman sought help from the police authorities and immediately launched an entrapment operation. The Tarlac Provincial Cyber Response Team led the surveillance and entrapment operation to arrest Sicat.
The cops immediately arrest the culprit after claiming the money at a remittance service center. Sicat is currently under the custody of Tarlac Police while waiting for inquest proceedings.
The latter would face numerous charges such as robbery-extortion, using a fictitious name and concealing his true identity, grave coercion, and violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
