Netizens are excited to meet the real Jacob del Rosario, played by Paulo Avelino
Actor Paulo Avelino has a surprise role in the Filipino version of Flower of Evil that also features Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe.
During the promotional period of this series that was adapted from the South Korean series with the same title, Lovi and Piolo have been giving “kilig” feels with their behind-the-scenes videos and photos, as well as “chills” as the series has its own suspense factor.
The additional thrill was revealed when it was announced that Paulo Avelino is actually part of the cast and he is the true Jacob del Rosario, the character that Piolo pretended to be at first.
Based on the article in Inquirer, Paulo’s character is a mysterious individual that is in a coma inside a secret room in the home of his wealthy parents.
Talking about his role, Paulo said that the most exciting part is yet to come. He said that he feels honored to do this project which is very different from his most recent romantic-comedy series with Janine Gutierrez.
Paulo shared that it was one of the reasons he accepted the role and the fact that it is not exactly the same as the original K-drama. He is also excited because it is his first time working with Piolo Pascual and although he did a movie with Lovi Poe before, it is his first time doing a series with her.
Talking about his preparations for his surprise role in Flower of Evil, Paulo Avelino shared that the main thing he did was to read the script and understand his character.
“Non-stop reading until you get ideas, alam mo ang gagawin mo sa character at paano mo iapply sa mga eksena,” he said. This revelation made fans more excited. Here are some of the comments.
