Video of Poor Rider Who Suffers Bone Fracture & Serious Injuries After Dog Suddenly Cross the Road Elicits Comments Online
Calasiao, Pangasinan. – A poor motorcycle rider suffered a bone fracture and serious injuries after a stray dog suddenly crossed the road.
The CCTV footage installed along the major road of Calasiao, Pangasinan caught a 45-year-old motorcycle rider named Alvin Mendez who accidentally hits a stray dog. The incident sent the rider pummeling on the ground.
The SUV in the opposite lane also hits the stray dog. Mendez suffered a bone fracture on his leg and arm. He is currently recuperating at the hospital after suffering serious injuries due to the incident.
The rider explained that he was just driving at a speed of around 40-50 kilometers per hour when the dog suddenly crossed the road. He failed to press the brakes on time due to the sudden turn of events.
“Sa pagkaalam ko po hindi naman mabilis takbo ko nasa 40-50 kilometers lang takbo ko e, siguro yung bigat po ng katabaan ko kasi may katabaan po ako, nabali po yung binti ko at saka kamay ko,” Mendez said.
Mendez was supposed to go to his work as a conductor when the incident happened. He is currently recuperating at the hospital but he can’t move his leg anymore. The victim also urged dog owners to always monitor their pets.
“Sana po wag pong pabayaan yung kanilang mga aso sa kalsada kasi Malaki pong disgrasya ang naidudulot katulad po natin,” Mendez added.
Another rider also gets into a road accident after hitting a stray cat along the road. The bystanders in the area quickly help the victim.
