Pokwang Shares Video Of 4-year-old Daughter Singing Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’

POKWANG – Kapuso comedian Pokwang shared an adorable video of her daughter Malia singing Katy Perry’s ‘Roar.’

Marietta Subong better known as Pokwang is a Filipina comedian, TV host, singer, and endorser. Among the shows she hosted were Wowowee, Happy Yipee Yehey, and Pilipinas Win na Win.

The comedian is currently in a relationship with American actor Lee O’Brian. They have a beautiful daughter named Francine Malia O’Brian.

After the shutdown of the Kapamilya network, Pokwang accepted projects with TV5. She then signed a contract with GMA Artist Center on June 18. The comedian said she was “super thankful and “excited” to become part of their family.

The 51-year-old celebrity is a staunch supporter of former VP Leni Robredo – who missed the chance to win the 2022 election after coming second to Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. She even attended some of the politician’s grand rallies and frequently post about Leni on social media.

In a post on her Instagram account last July 3, Pokwang shared an adorable video of her daughter Malia singing. In the video, the little girl can be seen singing Katy Perry’s song “Roar” inside the car.

At the end of the video, you can hear Malia coughed and choked while singing. The actress joked that their deal was just a roar and there was no coughing and choking.

“Ang usapan roar lang walang ubo at samid hahahahahaha,” she wrote in the caption.

It can be recalled that the song Roar was often sung by Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga during UniTeam political rallies. She even released her cover of the song during BBM’s Proclamation Day.
