Countless hearts were left broken by the unexpected death of Filipino lawyer John Albert Laylo who was supposedly in the United States to spend a much-needed rest and vacation with his mother, Leah Laylo. They were off to Philadelphia airport when the incident happened.

However, just five (5) minutes into their Uber ride, while the vehicle was stopping at the intersection of Spruce and South38th, their car was shot several times. Atty. John Laylo obtained a shot at the back of his head which resulted in his death.
