A Facebook user named Datunores Datudiya Midtimbang has shared the video footage of an illegal drag race in Maguindanao, which resulted in a tragic accident. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that several motorcycle riders were participating in a drag race event. The riders were competing against each other when one rider hit his fellow participant, which resulted in a tragedy.
The authorities have also expressed their concern after watching the video, which immediately spread like a wildfire online. The drag race has been held at National Highway in Sitio Abo, Ampatuan Maguindanao.
The victims have been rushed to the Integrated Provincial Health Office- Maguindanao provincial hospital after the incident.
The police officers have been strictly monitoring the area and prohibiting any form of race. However, the hard-headed riders return as soon as the cops leave. Ampatuan MPS repeatedly reminds the public to avoid participating in those kinds of events.
