Toni Gonzaga will play an important role on PBBM’s inauguration day

Actress-host Toni Gonzaga will be the artist who will perform the Philippine National Anthem during President Bongbong Marcos’s inauguration on June 30.

It was previously reported that the event will be held at the National Museum. The 17th President of the Philippines. Presidential Management Staff Secretary Zenaida “Naida” Angping said in a report from CNN Philippines that the building and its surrounding areas match the requirements they are looking for for the inauguration.

The National Museum was temporarily closed on June 6 and this is until July 4 for the preparation of the said event. Former Presidents Manuel L. Quezon in 1935, Jose P. Laurel in 1943, and Manuel Roxas in 1946 held their inaugurations also in the said place.

In a recent report from Inquirer, it was stated that Toni Gonzaga, one of the celebrity supporters of the UniTeam, will sing the Philippine National Anthem. During the election season, Toni was among the prominent personalities who campaigned for PBBM and his running mate incoming Vice President Sara Duterte.

She was the one who hosted the proclamation rally of UniTeam and from that on, she has joined the campaign rallies in different parts of the country. Her husband, award-winning director Paul Soriano was the one who directed the political ads of Marcos. For the inauguration, Toni will play another major role.

The camp of incoming President Bongbong Marcos said that the inauguration will be a “solemn and simple” event. Singer-actress Cris Villonco and the Young Voices of the Philippines choir will perform the inauguration song Pilipinas Kong Mahal. Marcos camp also said that there will a 30-minute military-civil parade during the inauguration.
