President-Elect Bongbong Marcos Introduces Toni Gonzaga, Paul Soriano to Mom Imelda
BONGBONG MARCOS – The president-elect spoke to his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, about Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano.
The Elections 2022 is over and the Philippines has declared its next president and vice president. With more than 16-million lead in the presidential election, former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was elected as the 17th president of the Republic of the Philippines.
The proclamation was held late afternoon of May 25, 2022. The family of Marcos Jr. including his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, was present at the proclamation. His wife, Atty. Louise Araneta-Marcos, their son Simon, and her sisters Sen. Imee and Irene were also present at the event.
Celebrity couple Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano were also present at the proclamation. President-elect Bongbong Marcos introduced them to his mom, former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the conversation took place at the executive lounge of the House of Representatives. Several other personalities and lawmakers were also there to greet the newly-elected president.
According to the report, Marcos Jr. referred to Toni as “kawawa” or pitiful as she was bashed by those who don’t believe. She told the former First Lady that the actress is the one performing in his campaign rallies. He also introduced Direk Paul as the grandson of Nestor de Villa but a director.
It is no secret to the public that Paul is related to Marcos Jr. The President-Elect and his wife are also among the primary sponsors during their wedding. Both of them earned bashing for their support to the UniTeam.
Toni and Paul kept their mum amid bashing for their support to Marcos Jr. and his team. The director’s hashtag Tweet “#HereComesTheSon” also earned him criticism.
