Is it true that Tom Rodriguez trusted his millions to a “friend”?
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez was allegedly scammed by a person he considered a friend and it was said that P20 million was stolen from him.
The breakup of Tom and actress Carla Abellana has involved several issues. It was alleged that their problem involved a third party on the part of the actor. Aside from that, it was also alleged that a big amount of money was one of the triggering factors.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, a person who was trusted by Tom Rodriguez took away a huge amount of his savings. It was said that the actor has talked about this problem to his friends.
Reportedly, the scammer took P20 million from Tom with the promise that this will grow. It was said that the actor was expecting that his savings will grow as he planned to use the money to build their rest house.
However, instead of earning more, Tom’s money disappeared like a bubble. Reportedly, the actor has already apologized to groups and non-government organizations to which he promised help when he filed his certificate of candidacy for a party list.
In a previous article, the post of the Kapuso actor last February resurfaced after he spoke about his breakup with Carla. In his post, Tom talked about The Worst Man who made him believe that he is trustworthy.
The actor also mentioned that The Worst Man has done things that would destroy his friends’ relationships. Apparently, other friends of the actor knew something about this.
As of this writing, Tom Rodriguez has not revealed yet the identity of The Worst Man or if it is the same person who allegedly scammed him.
