Carla Abellana made these revelations about her breakup with Tom Rodriguez
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana has broken her silence on the issue between her and actor Tom Rodriguez.
After seven years of being together, Carla and Tom decided to tie the knot in October last year. However, a few months after their wedding, breakup rumors circulated.
For quite some time, the couple remained silent but recently, Tom shared cryptic posts amid the speculations that Carla already filed for an annulment. The actor even mentioned that there was a gag order that prevents him to speak about the issue.
Friends of Tom told Ogie Diaz the alleged reason for the breakup and it was because of the flirting messages from a woman that Carla saw on her husband’s phone. The actress allegedly told the actor to leave their house because of that incident.
Carla Abellana is also accused of manipulating things in order for Tom Rodriguez not to get any offers anymore. However, the reply of the actress to a netizen’s comment on her YouTube channel tells another story.
In her lengthy reply to a netizen who said that she should have refrained from liking negative comments against Tom, Carla said that the effect of her liking spree is so little compared to the pain that she has experienced over the years.
“Ang taong nasaktan hirap pong pigilang hindi ilabas ang galit sa anumang paraan. I was disrespected. I was betrayed. I was lied to. I was used. I was shamed. I was made to look so stupid,” the actress revealed.
Carla also mentioned that Tom did bad things to her family which she can no longer tolerate. She also insisted that she has done nothing wrong to Tom. The actress stressed that she gave love, respect, and understanding to the actor. Carla also said that over the years, she has been very patient and forgiving.
“7 na taon po akong bawal magalit, magtampo, masaktan, mabigo, malungkot, madismaya dahil hindi po pwede,” Carla Abellana said adding that she will be punished once she will try to explain.
The actress shared that she tried to tell Tom to get help regarding his situation but he refused to do so. With optimism, Carla said that she went on to her decision to tie the knot with Tom. Amid the negative comments about her, Carla clarified that she is a good person because she was raised by her mother and grandmother to be like that.
