Shaina Magdayao has no issue sharing the same frame with an ex-boyfriend
Kapamilya actress Shaina Magdayao said that she is open to working with her ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
Shaina and John Lloyd were together as a couple for two years. Their relationship was confirmed in 2010. When they were together and even before they became a couple the two famous stars did not have the chance to work together on a project.
However, in 2020, in a Lav Diaz film titled Servando Magdamag, Shaina and John Lloyd had the chance to work together. Although the actress only did a cameo appearance, she said that she was happy.
In a recent interview by Philstar, Shaina Magdayao was asked about that experience working with her ex-boyfriend. She said that it was nice seeing John Lloyd Cruz again. Since the actor is also close to Direk Lav, their work went smoothly.
When asked if there was no awkwardness that was felt between them, Shaina said that there is no use dwelling on the past. “It’s really nice to see old friends,” the actress said.
Shaina also said that she has been friends with John Lloyd even after their breakup because she makes sure that she has no issues with the people in her past. “I think yan ang priority ko ngayon, to be worry-free, be okay and be at peace with everyone,” she said.
Then, she was asked if she is open to working with people in her past, like John Lloyd Cruz, the actress said that as long it is a good material, she is willing to do it. However, the actress said, “I don’t see it happening now.”
Shaina Magdayao is rumored to be dating Piolo Pascual. However, there is no direct confirmation from them yet regarding the real score between them.
