After more than two decades, Shaina Magdayao thought of ending her acting career
Kapamilya actress Shaina Magdayao admitted that she considered leaving the entertainment industry already but something came up that changed her mind.
At a young age, Shaina has already shown to the Filipino audience her acting prowess. Aside from possessing a beautiful face, she is also being admired for portraying different roles effectively.
The sister of actress-singer Vina Morales has already spent 25 years in showbiz and she thought this is going to be the end. Shaina Magdayao, based on the article in Inquirer, revealed in a recent interview that she thought of focusing on other things and just set aside her acting career.
She said that an offer came to her at the time that she thought she has already done everything when it comes to her profession as an actress. Shaina recently renewed her contract with ABS-CBN, her home for two decades and a half.
“I literally grew up in this industry. I was raised by the network. Our bosses here became my second nanay and tatay,” the actress shared. She also said that she has a very unique childhood. At the age of 6, she was already acting in front of the camera. Her co-stars and people in the production team became her playmates, siblings, and her “Kapamilyas”.
“That’s why when I was looking for my purpose in life, it’s no surprise that I also found it here,” she said. ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes made her realize that “purpose” that she was looking for.
The TV executive told the actress that her calling of service is in the industry. “She convinced me that I will never be able to run away from show business; that this is really the world I belong to. For that, I’m truly grateful. This is it! There’s no turning back,” Shaina Magdayao said.
