Police Arrest 2 Male Teenagers After Declaring Holdup Using Pellet Gun
TABUK, KALINGA – Two male teenagers have been arrested after declaring a holdup at a grocery store using a pellet gun.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
The police authorities arrested two male suspects after declaring a holdup at a grocery store of a gasoline station in the town of Tabuk in Kalinga. The two suspects pretend as customers to perform their illegal activity.
According to the police investigation, the holdup suspects with age 16 and 17 pulled out their weapons and pointed it at the cashier. The two declared a holdup inside the gasoline station in Barangay Bulo.
The holduppers immediately run away after they noticed another customer arrived at the gasoline station. However, some civilians chased and caught the suspects.
The cops confiscate the possession of the suspects and recovered the stolen cigarette packs, which were stolen from the grocery store. The police officers also discovered that the suspects just used a pellet gun.
The authorities also recovered a mobile phone, wristwatch, and cash worth P5, 000 from the suspects. The minor teenagers will face charges of robbery and are supposed to transfer under the Department of Social Welfare and Development custody.
