Kelsey Merritt shares her modeling story with Vice Ganda in this interview.
VICE GANDA – Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda interviews international model Kelsey Merritt as seen in his latest vlog.
Kelsey Merritt is the first Filipina model to walk the ramp of Victoria’s Secret as an “angel”. It happened in 2018 and was the last show. She was glad that she became a part of it and made history. And in the latest interview with Vice Ganda for the superstar’s YouTube channel, she shared some bits and pieces about her modeling career.
Accordingly, she started modeling at the age of 15 for the runway of local designers. After graduating from college, she decided to go abroad and work there as a model. And one year after, she got in for Victoria’s Secret show and this happened following her first casting.
It was a nerve-wracking experience for her and a dream come true. She also shared why she decided to pursue this career, “You know one of the reasons why nag-work ako ng modeling sa States is I can look like a lot of ethnicities, very ambiguous. Kasi di ba dati may isang stereotype ng mga nagmo-model. So ngayon ang gusto nila iba-iba look. Diverse.”
