KELSEY MERRITT – Victoria’s Secret model Kelsey Merritt discovered a new talent during COVID-19 lockdown in Los Angeles.
Filipina-American model Kelsey Merrit is known for being the first Filipina to walk the runway of Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Pinoy netizens including her celebrity friends went ecstatic after learning that she became part of VS models.
Last year, she and her fellow VS angels were featured in Zac Efron’s “Gym Time.” earlier this month, talent management company Viva Artists Agency (VVA) said the 23-year-old international model is their newest Angel
In Viva Artists Agency’s zoom conference on Wednesday, June 24, Kelsey Merritt shared her quarantine life in Los Angeles. She revealed that she spent most of her time cooking and baking inside her home.
“It’s been really quiet. I haven’t really seen a lot of people since quarantine started and I haven’t been travelling at all.”
“Things that I’ve discovered about myself, like, I was cooking and baking so much. I literally was not doing anything that I would wake up every day and my purpose for that day was to cook and bake,” she added.
Kelsey Merritt said she never really had the time to cook or even go to the grocery store because of her job. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown in LA, she was forced to cook her own food. She said she loves cooking Pinoy food and her specialty was adobo and sinigang.
She became excited about the topic after host Pamela Baranda asked her how she made her ‘pandesal.’ Kelsey said the moment she was able to get all-purpose flour, she immediately decided to bake because she “was craving it so much.”
“I couldn’t get flour anywhere, so as soon as I was able to buy one, I was, like, okay, I was making pandesal. I’m craving so much,” she said.
