The Hisense U50 was officially announced on September 3, 2021. The smartphone is powered by a 4030 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable). It was launched in a single color, Dark Green.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the device is 157.05 × 73.45 × 10 mm. It is built with plastic. The phone features a 6.1 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1560 pixels resolution.
Platform:
U50 is powered by Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8322. It runs on the Android 11 (Go Edition) operating system.
The smartphone is packed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 128GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Hisense U50 consists of an 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel (macro) + AI lens. It features autofocus, flash type – Single LED, and a 5-element lens.
Selfie Camera:
There is a single camera on the front that features a 5-megapixel camera for clicking selfies and self-shooting videos. It features face beauty and face unlock.
The phone’s sensors include proximity and an accelerometer. It also features MicroUSB 2.0, USB OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, GPS, and FM radio.
