Batangas Town Residents Complain About Massive Numbers of Flies Due to Poultry Farm Nearby
ROSARIO, BATANGAS – Batangas town residents are already complaining about the massive numbers of flies infesting their homes.
The residents of a certain barangay in Rosario, Batangas expressed their disappointment against the massive numbers of flies infesting their homes due to the effects of a nearby poultry farm.
A lady resident named Estela Malibiran of Barangay Maalas-as has been struggling due to the pests inside their home. She had already placed a fly trap inside their house but it was not enough to stop the infestation.
The villagers are blaming the poultry farm in the barangay for not maintaining the cleanliness of the farm.
A joint inspection team has visited a farm that experienced a water service interruption. The poultry farm management was able to address the issue and explained that they were spraying to control the buildup of flies.
So ‘yon yung una naming tinitingnan dito, yung mga puwedeng pagmulan ng langaw,” Rosario-LGU sanitation inspector Ferdinand Hernandez said.
The locals do not wish for the closure of the warm but they just only want an immediate solution to their problem.
