Rude Woman to Face Charges After Splashing Boiling Water to Minor Member of LGBTQ

A rude woman is set to face charges after splashing boiling water on a 16-year-old beki in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

Child abuse has been one of the major concerns of the government not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. Physical and verbal abuse against children is considered as a crime and strictly punishable by the law.

A 16-year-old member of the LGBTQ+ suffered burns and injuries after his ‘madrasta’ allegedly splashed hot water into his body. The poor victim revealed that he and his ‘madrasta’ frequently argue.

“Sabi ng mga kapatid ko, bakla ako, baboy. Paa sa akin masakit kasi kapatid ko rin ang mga nagsasabi,” the victim said.

The victim revealed that his ‘madrasta’ regularly abused him. His sibling has already reported their ‘madrasta’ to the barangay officials and police authorities for her abusive actions. However, the officials did not take necessary actions regarding the incident.

The accused has also defended herself and did not regret her action. The woman did not regret her action and claimed that it may serve as a lesson to the latter.

“Kung pagsisisi, hindi ko pa masasabi dahil sa nangyari. Kung mabilanggo ako, okay lang. Dapat leksyon sa kanya ‘yan,” the suspect said.

According to the police, the court will file charges of child abuse against the suspect once the documents have been completed.
