Police Authorities Apprehend Reckless Motorcycle Riders in MaRiLaQue for Cornering in Public Road
The police authorities have launched an operation to apprehend the motorcycle rider ‘banking’ in MaRiLaQue.
The Marcos Highway, which is also known as Marikina–Infanta Highway, or Marilaque Road, or Marikina-Infanta Road is one of the most popular destinations for motorcycle riders. It was a scenic mountain 117.5-kilometer highway connecting Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon.
Filipino motorcycle enthusiasts and even ordinary people love to visit the spot during weekends. Many people love to chill and unwind at the destination with numerous restaurants and other establishments.
Unfortunately, some people consider it as a killer highway because of frequent accidents in the area, especially within the road twisties or curves.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of police officers apprehending reckless riders at a corner in Marilaque. The video goes viral and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that a lot of motorcycle riders in the area were showing off their skills along the corner. The Highway Patrol Group and police authorities launched an operation to apprehend the reckless riders.
Several reckless motorcycle riders have been caught on the act of cornering the public road. The police authorities launched the operation to reduce the increasing rate of accidents in the area.
