Delivery Worker Saves Fellow Rider From Holdup Suspects

A delivery worker was able to save his fellow rider from heartless holdup suspects along Road 32 at Barangay Project 6 in Quezon City.

A poor delivery rider received help at the perfect time from his fellow rider during a holdup incident. The holdup incident happened at Barangay Project 6 in Quezon City around 2:00 am.

According to the report of the Quezon City Police District, the two unidentified suspects approached the victim who is trying to find the location of his customer. The suspects suddenly declared a holdup.

One suspect pointed a knife at his neck while the other suspect is holding his hand. The hold uppers were trying to steal his hard-earned cash and valuables.

Luckily, another delivery employee passed along the area and rammed the suspects using his motorcycle, which leads to a commotion. The roaming patrol car of PCP 1 from Station 15 immediately respond to the crime.

The police officers were able to arrest the 18 and 20-year-old suspects. The two will face robbery charges.

According to QCPD Station 15 Station Commander, Lt Colonel Norman Florentino, the holdup suspects were not from the town. The cops are already investigating the incident to determine why the suspects went to Quezon City.

Lt Colonel Florentino advised the delivery riders to take precautionary measures, especially when taking orders during nighttime.

“Punta sila sa safe na lugar yung maliwanag na may tao at tawagin mon a yung customer at alamin na yung daan kung saan ba eksakto, minsan kasi tumatawag sila kung saan sila abutan, hindi nila Makita kung saan sila hihinto,” Florentino said.
