Students Join Protest In Front of Comelec in Intramuros, Manila

Several students have conducted a rally in front of COMELEC office in Intramuros shouting “No To Marcos-Duterte”.

The Facebook page “DZRH News” has shared the video footage of students joining the protest to show their opposition to the Marcos-Duterte tandem. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from the netizens.

On Tuesday (May 10, 2022), a massive number of students performed a protest in front of the office of the Commission on Elections.

In the video, it can be seen that the protesters were criticizing Comelec for their alleged failure to impose a clean election. The students have also expressed their disappointment after presidential candidate Bong Bong Marcos takes the lead in the 2022 elections.

The protesters can be heard shouting “Marcos-Duterte walang pinag-iba” and urging the government to reject the tandem. The activists also urged the public not to forget the victims of Martial Law.

The activists also reiterated “Never Again to Martial Law”. The numbers of rallyists continue to increase as they express their opposition to the current results of the 2022 national elections.
