Deciding to undergo any cosmetic procedure to enhance physical features remains a big debate up until now. To many people, deciding to do this means one is not satisfied with the God-given physical features. But others stand otherwise. Deciding to do a plastic is accordingly not a big deal because one would just want some enhancements on his or her body.
Plastic surgery is a big help not just only to those who wanted to look more beautiful but also to those who suffer accidents. For example, a child who was bitten by a dog would need this in order to recover his face. Plastic surgery can be reconstructive in order the correct the defects of a person. While to some, it can also be for aesthetic purposes to alter specific parts he or she is not satisfied with.
And the latter is Mika Salamanca’s reason behind her rhinoplasty. Many were shocked about her decision to do it because she is already beautiful enough with her natural beauty. The 21-year-old social media influencer said that what pushed her to do it are external factors. There are people who accordingly would always tell something about her “flaw”.
She was never offended whenever someone would point this out and she took it the other way. She was encouraged and the support she’s received from people around her gave her the confidence to do it. She said, “Lagi silang may pero, ‘pero hindi mo naman need,’ ‘okay ka na sa ganyan itsura pero kung gusto mo talaga, go ka.’”
Apart from that, doing this would also answer all her what-ifs. It is what she needed for her mental health and this way is something she did in order to prevent lingering questions in the future. As much as many are aware, other influencers who are open about going under the knife and open about it are Angel Dei, Mae Layug, Gwy Saludes, and many others.
