DINGDONG DANTES – Kapuso network’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes releases a video revealing who he would be voting.
Bea Binene, Kris Bernal, and Christian Bautista are among the latest showbiz personalities from the Kapuso network to join the campaign rallies of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. They called themselves in and stepped out to join the large number of stars who supported and declared endorsement of the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.
And now, in an advance Mother’s Day video, Kapuso network’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes expressed his love and support for mothers – especially to his wife actress Marian Rivera and to his mother. In a heartfelt tribute to mothers, he also expressed his support for a mother and his vote will go to a mother.
“Sa inyo po ang aking buong pagpupugay … ang aking paghanga, ang aking serbisyo, ang aking boto,” Dingdong said in a video message as he sincerely expressed his love and admiration for the mothers. He also enumerated the virtues of a good mother like being protective of their child and putting themselves always after the welfare of their children.
He also called them “miracle workers” for being able to make ends despite having a short budget. He said, “Lahat ng sakit, naiinda. Pagkaing isusubo na lang, ibibigay pa sa mga anak niya. Prayoridad niyang umangat ang buhay ng mga mahal niya.”
The actor added that mothers are not just the “light of the house” but also the “pillar of the house” for their capacity to do more than they can for their family. His words interestingly reflect the campaign lines of Robredo like “angat buhay”, “radical love”, and many others.
He did not directly mention any names but he stressed that he will be voting for a mother and it also happens that Robredo is the only mother and the lone female presidential candidate in this year’s polls.
