REY LANGIT’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of Rey Langit and the things he promises to do if he gets elected again as Senator in the May 2022 Elections.
Reynante “Rey” Magat Langit is a well-known radio and TV announcer in the Philippines. He is a main anchor on DZRJ 810 and is hosting the public service programs “Kassanga Mo Ang Langit” and “Biyaheng Langit”. Langit is running for seantor under the ruling party PDP-Laban.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Rey Langit took up a Bachelor of Science in Commerce at the Far Eastern University. He is married to Ester Dino Langit and they have two sons. The eldest has passed away while Reynante “JR” Langit Jr is a co-host in the “Kasangga Mo Ang Langit” program.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
For many years, Rey Langit was the station manager and vice president of DZRJ 810 and Aliw Broadcasting Corporation until 2016 because that year, he ran for senator but did not succeed. He is also hosting the program Insider Exclusive Kapihan on RJ DigiTV and PTV. The veteran journalist is currently the Chairman of the Heavenly Images Productions for Television, Inc. (HIP TV, Inc.). Langit was one of the prominent broadcasters who covered the 1986 People Power revolution.

- Promote the creation of an OFW department
- Strengthen treaties with other countries to protect our OFWs
- Protect farmers and address the plummeting price of local rice supply
- Strengthen cooperatives
- To address the COVID-19 pandemic, use “resilience scoring” by checking vaccination coverage
- Fight corruption
- On the West Philippine Sea issue, aside from individual bilateral agreements, use the NATO principle
