Kakampinks assumed Marian Rivera will join a Leni-Kiko rally
A teaser was released featuring a “Darna” who would join the campaign rally of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan in Cavite and it was assumed by many that this was Marian Rivera.
In a Twitter post of Caviteños For Leni, an art card was shared. In it was the silhouette of the iconic Pinay superhero. “Iba ka Cavite! Dalawang Darna pa ang pupunta! ABANGAN!!!” the Twitter post stated announcing that two Darnas will join the Leni-Kiko rally.
Because of this, many Kakampinks assumed that it would be the Kapuso Primetime Queen who also played Darna in a series. Marian, along with her husband Dingdong Dantes supported the candidates of the Liberal Party in the past. It is also a known fact that she is a Caviteña.
However, on May 1, supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem did not get what they expected. It was later on revealed that the Darna teaser for the Leni-Kiko rally was referring to Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin and Megastar Sharon Cuneta. Both of the Kakampink celebrities gave life to the character of the Pinay superhero.
Because of this, based on the article in Balita, many Kakampink netizens were surprised that the teaser was not about Marian Rivera. Here are some of the comments.

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, along with other Kapuso stars, are not vocally endorsing any candidate this year because they are part of their home network’s political advocacy to spread awareness to Filipino voters to be mindful in choosing the next leaders.
