Is it true that Vice Ganda is only endorsing VP Leni Robredo?
Speculations surfaced that It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda is only endorsing the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo and not her running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
Vice was one of the Kapamilya celebrities.who joined a recent campaign rally for the Leni-Kiko tandem. It was also a celebration for the birthday of the Vice President. Kakampinks were delighted to see Vice on the stage wearing his pink outfit.
However, there were those who saw intrigue in his speech. Based on the article in PEP, in the 5-minute speech of the Unkabogable Star, Kakampinks were anticipating that he would also mention Sen. Kiko. However, this did not happen.
It was said that the crowd was shouting “Isama si Kiko” but apparently, Vice Ganda did not hear the people. “I was there and we’re shouting na isama si Kiko. Kaso di yata kami narinig but I know, we know that Vice Ganda’s also for Kiko!” a netizen who attended the rally wrote on social media.
Some of the supporters of the husband of Sharon Cuneta, expressed dismay over what happened. “Marami ang nag-iintay sa endorsement niya last night. Iniwan niya si Kiko,” a Kakampink shared online.
Speculations also surfaced that the comedian-host is supporting a different vice-presidential candidate. It was alleged that he want Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to be the next president.
Although Vice Ganda did not endorse Sen. Kiko Pangilinan in his speech, he still called the lawmaker on stage to give a message for VP Leni but the supposed giving birthday message did not happen as the group photo opportunity took place.
One of the highlights of the said campaign rally was the powerful speech of award-winning actor John Arcilla channeling his Heneral Luna character.
