Pokwang and Ai-Ai were featured in this tweet of Audie Gemora
Singer-actor Audie Gemora shared a post on his Twitter account just recently comparing Kapuso comediennes Pokwang and Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Audie retweeted an art card featuring the statement of Pokie about netizens who were threatening to unfollow her because of her political views. She is one of the celebrity supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo.
In her statement, the Leni supporter comedienne stressed that she is not afraid if the number of followers that she has will decrease because she is more afraid of losing her “dangal at karapatan lumaban para sa bayan at para sa aking mga anak at maging apo.”
When Audie Gemora shared this statement of his fellow Kakampink, he wrote this caption: “I always thought Pokwang funnier, more intelligent than Ai Ai.”
Previously, Ai-Ai delas Alas slammed a social media post claiming that she is one of the celebrity Kakampinks or supporters of VP Leni. The Comedy Concert Queen stressed that she does not support the presidential candidacy of the Vice President.
She explained the story behind her photo in which she was wearing a pink outfit, the political campaign color of VP Leni.
Later on, Ai-Ai confirmed that she is supporting the UniTeam of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. During the Miting de Avance of OFW UniTeam supporters, Ai-Ai spoke.
“Tayo ay Pilipino, taas-noo kahit kanino. Maraming-maraming salamat po. Ito po si Ai-Ai delas Alas para sa UniTeam,” she said.
As of this writing, both Pokwang and Ai-Ai delas Alas haven’t released any statement yet regarding this matter.
