Ai-Ai delas Alas warned the public against this fake news
Kapuso actress Ai-Ai delas Alas slammed a post claiming that she is one of the celebrity supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo.
It is a fact that several celebrities in the Philippines have vocally expressed their support for the presidential candidacy of the Vice President such as Agot Isidro, Sharon Cuneta, Bituin Escalante, Daniel Padilla, Kris Aquino, Ogie Diaz, and many more.
These celebrities and the others have been posting photos wearing pink outfits as they are proud of being Kakampinks. However, Ai-Ai delas Alas clarified that she is not one of them.
In her recent Instagram post, the Kapuso star shared a social media post claiming that she is one of the celebrities who are wearing pink to show support for VP Leni. “Mga celebrity nagsuot ng pink para ipakita ang suporta kay Leni Robredo.“
The edited photo included Ai-Ai’s image wearing a pink outfit. She said that this is fake news and clarified that the said photo was taken from the photo for her movie Tanging Ina.
“Utang na loob NANAHIMIK AKO wag nyo akong masali sali sa mga ganito .. tahimik buhay ko .. lahat na lang .. huy !!!! tanging ina ko pa picture yan tanging ina ka kung sino ka man na gumagawa ng mga ganitong ka cheapan … “ she said.
Then, Ai-Ai delas Alas stressed that she is not a Kakaampink. “Pls hindi po ako vp LENI supporter,” the Kapuso star said. She included the hashtag “I want peace” and “I want unity”. Because of this, many netizens have concluded that she is supporting the other side or the UniTeam of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
This post of Ai-Ai received a comment from Randy Santiago. The singer posted red and green hearts, the color associated with the UniTeam.
