Celebrities Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez declare political stand, express support for VP Leni Robredo.
PIOLO PASCUAL – More and more celebrities are coming out to support Leni Robredo and the newest additions are Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez.
As the May 2022 polls inch near, more and more celebrities and other influential personalities express their support for their chosen president. And among the big names joining the Pink team spearheaded by Vice President Leni Robredo are Angel Locsin, Nadine Lustre, Cherry Pie Picache, Agot Isidro, Nikki Valdez, Pinky Amador, Janine Gutierrez, Jolina Magdangal, Iza Calzado, Saab Magalona, Rica Peralejo, Bianca Gonzalez, Macoy Averilla aka Macoy Dubs, Janina Vela, JK Labajo, Reese Lansangan, Sassa Gurl, and more.
And the newest additions to the cluster of celebrities supporting the presidential bid of the current vice president are Kapamilya Heartthrob Piolo Pascual and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Recently declaring his vote, Piolo has set social media in loud buzz. He said in a 2-minute video posted on his social media accounts, “Pilipino para sa kapwa Pilipino. Iisa lang ang taong nagpakita at nagparamdam niyan sa atin sa loob ng napakaraming taon: si Leni Robredo lang. At si Leni Robredo lang ang tanging iboboto kong pangulo ngayong eleksyon.”
He believes in one true unity and that is when no one will be left behind and not the unity forged among political dynasties for their own interests. He has been supportive of Robredo since the beginning.
To recall, last 2016, he was not allowed to make any official statements about his political bet but he revealed that his support at that time was for current President Rodrigo Duterte.
Velasquez also believes in the tandem’s pure intent for the country. In a post, she reiterated her support for them and Sharon Cuneta appreciated this so much. The Megastar is the wife of Kiko Pangilinan, Robredo’s running mate.
