Sharon Cuneta joins Kiko Pangilinan’s campaign event in Tarlac
Megastar Sharon Cuneta said these good words about Vice President Leni Robredo and his husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
From the time Sen. Kiko announced that he is running for vice president, Sharon has shown her support for her husband’s decision for his political career.
Despite her busy schedule in the entertainment industry, Sharon joined the campaign activity of her husband in Tarlac on February 22. ABS-CBN reporter Jervis Manahan, said these strong words about the Leni-Kiko tandem.
“Walang bahid na masama sina Leni at Kiko sa gobyerno!” the actress-singer said. The Megastar also serenaded the Kakampink crowd with her hit song “Bituing Walang Ningning.”
She sang this as she asked the people there to vote for VP Leni and Sen. Kiko in the coming May 2022 elections. In the said campaign, Robredo’s daughter, Jillian Robredo, also spoke before the audience. She said that her mother has been in the public service for a decade now. “Ipinakita niya na kahit anong trabaho, kaya niyang gawin,” the daughter of the Vice President said.
“Katulad ng pagmamahal niya sa tatay ko at sa aming pamilya, alam niyang kailangan niyang ipaglaban ang mga minamahal niya. Kailangan niyang ipaglaban ang tama,” Jillian said about her mother.
In his speech, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan stressed that fake news scattered on social media nowadays. Because of this, they want to bring to the people the truth. “Marami pa rin ang naniniwala sa fake news sa Facebook, Youtube, at Tiktok. Kaya tayo ang magdadala ng katotohanan sa ating mga kababayan,” the husband of Sharon Cuneta said.
Prior to Sen. Kiko’s arrival, celebrity Gab Valenciano, the son of Mr, Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, entertained the crowd.
