Working Student w/ Multiple Jobs Takes Top 2 Spot in Mechanical Engineer Board Exam After Years of Hardwork
A working students with multiple jobs during his college days takes the second spot in Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam.
The ME board topnotcher Mark Allen Armenion goes viral online after taking the Top 2 spot on the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination although he had to take multiple jobs just to finish college.
Armenion narrated that he started to work as a porter in public market at the age of 11 due to family and financial problem. He was forced to do multiple jobs in the wet market to support his education.
The young man would carry out garbage or fetch water for other people in exchange of some amount. He also shared that he failed in several subjects during his elementary and highschool days due to his problems.
“Nag-start ako sa palengke nung elementary pa lang po ako kasi nga may problema yung relationship namin sa family tapos problema sa financial po so parang na-force po ako na pumunta sa palengke,” Armenion said.
Despite the struggles, Mark continue to work hard to reach his dream and even worked as a substitute instructor in a review center in Quezon City. The job helped him a lot of land on topnotchers.
Initially, he is aiming to take the top spot but he is still happy with the results of his hardwork.
“‘Yun yung pinaka malaking impact sakin sa pag-review, Masaya po ako ngayon and hindi pa rin po ako maka-getover kahit ilang weeks na lumabas yung result hindi pa siya nag-sink in sakin,” Mark said.
