Is this the answer of Herbert Bautista to the tirade of Kris Aquino?
The subtle revelation of UniTeam’s senatorial candidate Herbert Bautista appeared to be his answer to the claim of Kris Aquino about her “ex” who did not fulfill his promise.
To recall, during the campaign event of the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan in Tarlac, Kris made a surprise appearance and she mentioned her “ex” who is in the UniTeam.
Although she did not mention any name, it is quick for everyone to say that she was talking about Herbert, who is the only one in the UniTeam slate that was linked to her romantically.
In a recent interview by vlogger Thinking Pinoy, Herbert was asked a “very important” question. “Marunong ba talaga kayo tumupad ng pangako o hindi?” TP asked.
“Una, hindi ako nangangako,” Herbert Bautista said and then laughed adding that he just does things. He also said that making a promise is an old-school thing. For him, now is not the time to make promises but to “listen, to touch base.”
The senatorial candidate also said that when it comes to personal matters, he does not make promises as well. “Hindi rin ako nangangako ng personal eh,” he said.
TP said that this is not what they heard in the central Luzon part. With this, Herbert mentioned a law that is included in the Family Code that stated once the wedding invitations were sent out and the person did not pursue the wedding, that is a breach of promise to marry.
“Pero kung nagkwentuhan lang kayo, tapos hindi natuloy, kuwentuhan lang yun,” Herbert Bautista said and he stressed, “that’s the law ha.”
