With regards to the 10 richest billionaires in the Philippines, the 2021 list has most people coming from the business field. There are spots that were occupied by several persons belonging to one family and they lead a family business.

The president and vice chairman of San Miguel, Ramon Ang, is also a stockholder in Eagle Cement. Most of his riches are from his power and infrastructure businesses.

According to Forbes, most of the richest of former Sen. Manny Villar is from his real estate business. He is currently the chairman of the property developer Vista Land and Lifescapes.
