Groom Passes Away Due to Accident While Heading to Celebration Venue After Wedding
A groom passed away of accident while heading to the celebration venue after his wedding at Torrijos, Marinduque.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, accidents are still happening unexpectedly.
Recently, a 26-year-old groom identified as Alan Roldan died after his jeep he is riding falls into the cliff. The tragic accident happened after their happy and memorable wedding in Torrijos, Marinduque.
Roldan together with a young girl died due to the accident. 28 other passengers from the jeepney suffered wounds and injuries due to the accident.
According to the police investigation, Roldan married his wife at the town of Sta Cruz and currently heading to Barangay Buangan in Torrijos for the wedding celebration when the incident happened.
Unfortunately, the jeep lost its brake while traveling the road along Barangay Cagpo in Torrijos. The vehicle falls into a cliff, which is about 20-feet deep.
The jeepney driver named Roderick Rigardo is currently under police custody. He may face possible charges due to the incident.
