Unique Wedding Inside Police Station Goes Viral Online
The wedding of an inmate and his girlfriend inside of a police station in Pampanga goes viral after it was posted online.
Wedding is a marriage ceremony, especially considered as including the associated celebrations. It is an act where couple exchange vows in front of various visitors, witnesses, parents and initiating personnel to validate the event.
It is also one of the most important events that a person could ever experience on its life how extravagant or simple it is. Couple were asked to kiss after the ceremony, which has been part of the culture and tradition in various regions all around the world.
The woman has decided to marry her boyfriend imprisoned at Sto. Tomas Police Station. The groom has been detained at the jail cell for about a year due to several complaints against him.
The unique wedding happened before the woman leave the Philippines to work abroad. The inmate asked permission from the police officers to allow him marry his girlfriend inside the police station.
According to Police station chief Police Captain Glenn Santelices, the inmate asked him to grant his request. With the help of a Church pastor, the wedding becomes possible without violating any rules and regulations.
Initially, the cop hesitated to grant the inmate’s request but he witnessed the latter’s willingness to marry his girlfriend. “Una nag-alangan kaming payagan pero willing talaga siya na magpakasal sa asawa,” Santelices said.
However, the newly-wed couple refused to give a statement but the police officers expressed their happiness to the couple and jail bars could not hinder their love towards each other.
“Pinatunayan lang po namin na bagaman sila man po ay nakapiit may mga rights naman po sila na puwede namang pagbigyan po,” Santelices said.
