Sylvia Sanchez is all-out support for the candidacy of Arjo Atayde
Actor Arjo Atayde, who is running for congressman in Quezon City, shared a post on Facebook showing appreciation to the support that his mother veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez has been giving to him.
This is the first time that Arjo will enter the political arena and his family is rallying behind her back. In a previous interview, Sylvia shared that while Arjo was in lock-in taping, she and her husband Art were the ones who did the campaigning.
Despite having the fear of the negative things that might happen to her son, Sylvia said that fact that she saw the determination of Arjo to help made her hesitations go away. The veteran actress shared that there were those who told her son to just back out but Arjo was not succumb by that.
As Arjo Atayde continues to do his campaign events, his mother is always by his side. In his recent Facebook post, he expressed gratitude to his mother. “I truly appreciate your time, love and generosity! Ang ina ay isa sa pinakamahalagang aspeto ng maunlad na tahanan!” the award-winning actor wrote in the caption of his post.
Arjo featured a photo of him with Sylvia leaning on his shoulder. This sweet post of the actor for his mother garnered various reactions from netizens. There were those who said that the actor is so lucky to have a very supportive mother.
There were also those who wish him good luck for his political stint and cheered him for this endeavor. Fans of Arjo Atayde also thanked Sylvia Sanchez for her unending support.
