Arjo Atayde is celebrating his 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry
Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde shared that story about his first-ever acting stint as he looked back to the 10 years that he spent in show business.
Arjo has proven that he deserves a spot in the entertainment industry and away from the shadow of his award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez. Within a decade, he was able to establish his own name in showbiz and he did it with flying colors.
Arjo already won acting awards for his televisions projects and in 2020, he was hailed as the Best Actor in a Leading Role in the 3rd Asian Academy Creative Awards for his movie Bagman.
After 10 years, he is now one of the sought-after actors of his generation. Looking back, Arjo Atayde shared the story about the first acting stint that he had. He revealed that the director almost told him to just go home.
“I remember day 1 as if it was just yesterday… 18 takes on my first ever scene and the director wanted to send me home lol,” he wrote in his Instagram post. He said that surprisingly, after a decade, he is still here. It just goes to show that he bloomed into an actor who deserves good projects.
“More than the work I have been blessed with, I am grateful that the past 10 years have also blessed me with some of the best friendships and truest relationships I’ve had,” the Kapamilya actor said.
Arjo also thanked the people who have been part of his amazing journey in the show business. “Thank you for filling my years with love, friendship and inspiration. I am so blessed to get to do what I love and I’m still here for the same reason since day 1… I just want to act,” he said.
