The campaign rally of a politician in Tondo, Manila turned into chaos after the crowd starts to throw bottles and monoblock chairs.

A Facebook user named Macmac Mesa has shared the video footage of a chaotic scene during the campaign rally of a politician in Tondo, Manila. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that several groups of young teenagers were jamming to the song “Tatsulok” being played on stage. After a few moments, the crowd has started to throw objects towards each other.

The commotion gets worse, which causes tension among the attendees of the campaign rally. The band even stopped playing the song to stop the crowd. However. The situation gets worse when some male audiences start to fight.

The campaign rally been established by re-electionist congressman Manny Lopez. The police officers and marshalls in the event intervened.  However, Manny Lopez explained that it was just a minor incident.

“It was a minor incident that was ignited by rival gangs over a staring incident. Police were quick to control the situation and all personalities have already left the event hours past. Petty street gang fight that occur among our youth on a regular basis in the Metropolis,” Lopez explained.
