Netizens Slam Young Lady After Borrowing BF’s Uniform & Used it to Create TikTok Contents
The young lady who borrowed her boyfriend’s army uniform and used it for her TikTok video elicits criticisms from the netizens.
A Facebook user named Pauiee Marie has shared the video footage of a young lady dancing on TikTok while wearing a soldier’s uniform. The video circulates online and garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that the woman named Shynee Redondo is wearing her boyfriend’s uniform while dancing. The lady is wearing Philarpat BDU while carrying R-4 carbine rifle.
She even uploaded the controversial video on her TikTok account, which triggered the fury of soldiers and their families. Marie lambasted Redondo for her irresponsible action and considered it as a disrespectful act. She explained that only authorized personnel are allowed to wear soldier’s uniform.

“Shynee Redondo, alam mo bang binabastos mo ang uniporme ng kasundaluhan? Pinaghihirapan ‘yan bago maisuot ng mga otorisadong sundalo tapos ikaw gagamitin mo pang-costume sa TikTok?? Na-call ‘yung attention mo tapos sasabihin mong insecure lang kaya ka pinansin? Saan banda kami maiinsecure sa’yo? Sa pagpapabebe mo habang suot mo ‘yang uniporme?”
A mandate also reminded the 10th ID personnel that using AFP equipment on social media is strictly prohibited.
“To the troops, let us be especially careful with our equipment owned by the AFP, especially the guns and uniforms, not to be worn or used by unauthorized personnel and we know that the use of Tiktok Apps is strictly prohibited. that if you are in uniform.”
The woman’s act is a violation of Revised Penal Code, Article 177 and 179 or “Usurpation of Authority and Illegal use of Uniform and Insignia”.
The 10th Infantry Division or the Agila Division in Philippine Army will launch a probe towards the sergeant who allowed his girlfriend to wear his uniform and used it for TikTok videos.
